Boxing is great at torching fat, increasing muscle tone and cardiovascular fitness, improving muscular endurance, strength, and power, improving core stability and overall flexibility, and being the best stress relief activity ever.

We have knowledgeable, high-energy trainers who support all fitness levels helping you push throughout classes! Remember it is you vs you, so if you feel like you need to speed up or slow down.

At the moment we don’t have beginner classes, because all movements can be modified to your fitness level. If you choose that you want to slow down or speed up for a round you have complete control.

Yes, they may actually help you reach your goals twice as fast! Our nationally certified trainers are very knowledgeable in boxing, kickboxing, and functional strength training. You can choose a personal training plan that best fits your needs and goals. Most of our members take private lessons to brush up on their technical skills, whether that is boxing or weightlifting.

Gloves are available for you to rent or buy from our staff at the front desk at a great price, or you can bring your own.




Wraps aid in protecting your wrist and knuckles while punching the bags. We have both slip-on wraps or traditional hand wraps for sale at the front desk. Our wraps are machine- washable so you can use them again and again with no problem.




Appropriate fitness attire such as athletic shorts/leggings, a comfortable shirt, and athletic shoes. Oh, don’t forget to wear a smile :D.

Yes! Boxing has proven time and again to be one of the most effective form of cardio. We also do functional training where you can build more muscle for your body, which helps improve your physique while burning more calories. 




Approach the front desk and let the staff know that you are new. We ask that if it is your first time that you come 30 minutes before class to make sure you have the best experience.




Each class is 50 minute long. Unless it is Saturday then there may be a plot- twist.




All movements are Modifiable in our workouts, we have success options for everyone to complete the workouts feeling stronger than yesterday.




Bring a towel, because you will sweat so much burning calories and building muscle. We sell a variety of drinks for you to stay hydrated, however we do have a water fountain if you would like to fill up your own bottle. The main thing is to stay hydrated.

Boxing can make your body ripped and toned. Most boxers have a strong core, toned arms, toned back, toned shoulders, and super high confidence. Oh, and did we mention they have the best power to weight ratios of any athlete.




Of course. AKtivate Fitness is geared toward ALL levels of fitness and everyone is encouraged to go at their own pace. We recommend trying a free class, then discussing any questions you may have regarding your fitness goals, with your coach.

If it is your first time you should arrive 30 minutes early for orientation to receive the best first- time experience, and regular attending members should aim to be at the studio 5-10 minutes before class for check-in.




Absolutely! Our coaches are all about your progress and having fun while doing it. We always have success options for all exercises on the floor. We can help you AKtivate your goals, just be ready to sweat!

For classes, we have a minimum age limit of 14 with a parent in attendance, and 16 without a parent. Minors need to have their parent or gauradian sign for them as well.




Boxing is cardio that you don’t realize your a doing most times because you are having so much fun. Boxing also helps improve overall confidence, and especially with delf defense. This style of boxing and kickboxing will make sure you get all your necessary cardio for your goals and more.




Each class will incorporate boxing and functional training. We make sure we hit different body parts each day along with a variety of formats for class to prevent boredom.

We make sure every class is fueled with fun and excitement. We mix up the workouts leaving you to be thrilled at just guessing what you will get once you walk in. Our workout will give you progress, and the AKtivate Community continuously brings the best workout partners.




We have many different options for you waiting to be AKtivated. Once you come in to complete your FREE CLASS we will get you on the right path to complete your goals.




We have Thai & Tear bags for boxing and we also have a variety of equipment for functional training including Dumbbells, kettlebells, barbells, agility ladders, and so much more! Literally so much more and so much fun!!




We ask that you arrive 30 minutes early so our staff can go over all the strikes and basics for boxing, receive a tour of the studio, and for us to learn about the goals you have!
